It's gonna be me you and the dancefloor...

I've never really been a huge fan of the song "Forever" by Chris Brown. That was until I saw it featured on "The Office", Pam & Jim's wedding. I thought it was a cute spoof of the Youtube video featuring the wedding party dancing down the aisle to this song.

If you're thinking about adding it to your wedding but you wished it wasn't so "dancy", check out Andrew Garcia's version

His song is available on iTunes.

Another great song is Rhianna's "Umbrella". Again, if it's too "dancy" you can use the cover done by Mandy Moore.

Or you can use Marie Digby's version

This just goes to show that most popular dance/pop songs have a cover out there. So check out youtube and iTunes to see what hidden gems you can find!

What a deal!

I made another arrangment last night. I think this is my favorite one yet!

Oh & I forgot to mention that these flowers were purchased at my local grocery store! How great is that? Most grocery stores offer, in their floral department, a deal 3 (bulk) for $12. It's usually a hit or miss because it is a grocery store and not an actual flower shop. But, hey, it works! It defitnetly fills the void of having access to a local wholesaler. I can't seem to find one in the Chicago land area.

So next time you're out doing some grocery sshopping, don't forget to stop by the floral department!

While it's not spring yet, the warmer temperatures and the snow melting away has me thinking spring, spring, SPRING! And since it's not exactly time to put away all the bulky sweaters, boots, and scarves; I decided to share with you one of my favorite scents ever. Gardenia. Sweet, romantic, and fresh. Love it! :)

This will surely give you a bit of spring fever!
